Attorney Chen formerly served as Managing Partner of Beijing Fanglue Law Firm and joined Beijing Jotai Law Firm in February 2025. With over 20 years of legal practice, he has accumulated extensive experience in civil/commercial litigation and criminal defense. Over the past decade, he has focused predominantly on criminal cases, having represented clients in over 200 criminal matters and secured financial recoveries exceeding CNY 10 billion for clients. • Represented Mr. Li, actual controller of a Shanxi-based steel group company, in a mafia-style organization case (designated as Case No. 5 by the Central Anti-Gang Crime Office and Central Political and Legal Affairs Commission). As lead defense counsel for the first defendant, successfully challenged two charges, resulting in their dismissal.
• Defended Mr. Diao (Henan Province) in a mafia organization participation, bribery, and money laundering case.
• Represented Mr. Zhang, actual controller of a Zhejiang-based conglomerate, in an illegal absorption of public deposits case involving billions of CNY.
